Pembroke Lodge Wedding, Richmond, Richmond Wedding Photographer

David & Samantha

David and Samantha’s beautiful wedding was held at St Peter’s Church in Petersham. The reception was being held at Pembroke Lodge, Richmond Park. The stunning 16th Century parish church had special significance to their family. I couldn’t wait to photograph in the wonderfully traditional setting. I set up at the church and photographed the couple’s lovely friends and family whilst we waited for Samantha’s arrival.
Samantha arrived in classic Jaguar, to the sound of bagpipes, referencing her family’s Scottish heritage. Samantha was walked down the aisle by her father. Samantha looked simply beautiful in a lace gown and classic veil. David, looking sharp in a tweed suit and waistcoat, looked relaxed and happy to see his wife-to-be.
A lovely ceremony full of traditional readings and exquisite hymns followed. Friends and family beamed as the couple said their I do’s and exchanged rings.
After the heartwarming ceremony, the guests headed to the reception at Pembroke Lodge wedding venue in the grounds of Richmond Park. I took the opportunity to steal the newlyweds away for some romantic photos on Richmond Hill. We also shot some images outside the Robuck pub, this is where this awesome couple first met. I was so happy to capture some truly gorgeous shots of such a lovely couple. The scenery was beautiful and it was such a warm and sunny day.
At Pembroke Lodge, the couple’s exquisite and classic taste was clear to see. The impressive venue was decorated beautifully and perfectly echoed the couple’s style.
We took advantage of the weather and well-kept grounds and headed out at golden hour to grab some shots in the grounds of Pembroke Lodge and Richmond Park.
It wasn’t long before first dance which was followed by plenty of joviality and of course dance moves. I wish a huge congratulations to Samantha and David and a lifetime of happiness.
