Old Thorns Manor Hotel Wedding, Liphook, Hampshire Wedding Photographer

Nicola & Phil Brown

From time to time I get to shoot at venues that are within half hour or so from home, which I love. The Old Thorns hotel is a great venue which offers a brilliant setting for any wedding. Nicola and Phil booked me what felt like a life time ago by the time their special day arrived. We had previously shot some engagement photos in windsor so I knew that we were going to have a blast come their wedding day. The day started off with Nicola getting ready at her parents home in Camberley and Phil get ready just around the corner at home.

It wasn’t long before ceremony time was upon us. Nicola and Phil had chosen the stunning St Michael’s Church, Camberley. A packed church and Phil all awaited Nicola’s arrival. Nicola soon arrived and the ceremony went perfectly, they exchanged their vows and walked back down the aisle hand in hand as husband and wife. Shortly after we all headed outside for some confetti and to wave the newlyweds off, before heading to The Old Thorns Hotel.

On route to the Old Thorns Hotel, we stopped off for a quick photo along the way a great look out spot across Camberley, Aldershot and Farnborough. I then shot off ahead ready to meet Nicola and Phil arriving at the Old Thorns Hotel for their drinks reception. The hotel is set in some amazing grounds so of course we had to go off  for an explore to capture some portraits. The rest of the evening was of course full of fun, with dancers, a live swing band, some great speeches and one awesome first dance!

I would like to with Nicola and Phil all the best and thank you for using Matthew Lawrence Photography.
