London Engagement Session, St Paul’s, London Wedding Photographer

Sarah & Tom Chenery

Shooting an engagement session in London can sometimes be difficult. As you can imagine most locations are either full of tourists or have been heavily photographed. Trying to decide on a location for Sarah and Tom’s engagement shoot was difficult but I decided to start at St Pauls Cathedral and work out way towards Borough Market. Luckily for me this payed off. The location worked out perfectly and it felt so good shooting somewhere new. (for me anyway) The weather was just perfect with a lovely sunset and gorgeous blue skies, it was however Freezing!

Sarah and Tom are getting married in Cyprus later this year, so meeting in London to shoot some photos was a great way to meet. It was also a good chance for them to get comfortable in front of the camera. Having your photo taken can of course be awkward for some. Luckily for me Sarah and Tom rocked it and were amazing, clearly I had nothing to worry about. Even with lots of people around these guys weren’t phased.

As we moved from spot to spot trying our hardest to stay warm, it was a great chance to chat more about their wedding day and get to know each other. I am really looking forward to photographing their wedding later this year. Even more so knowing how relaxed they are, I always work in a very relaxed way when photographing any wedding. It is super important to get the best results and of course keep the day stress free. It would appear I may end up horizontal at this wedding! I am also pretty sure it is going to be a whole lot warmer than it was for this shoot!
