The Elvetham Hotel Wedding, Hampshire, Fleet Wedding Photographer

Claire & David

Being a wedding photographer, I get to shoot in some gorgeous venues. The Elvetham hotel Wedding venue is no exception. So of course I was excited when Claire and David first got in touch about their wedding day. Winter weddings come with some risk of rain and typical British weather, however it couldn’t of been better! I arrived ready to shoot with the sun shining.

Claire was getting ready in the Bridal suite with her bridesmaids, who were all in great spirit excited about the day ahead. There was a great atmosphere in the room. David was getting ready just down the hall with him Groomsmen who were helping him get ready for the day. It wasn’t long before it was time for Claire to put on her stunning dress, with some final hair and make up touches she was ready. I took the opportunity to grab a few quick portraits before her very proud dad came in to see Claire for the first time.

Guests has already started arriving and once all seated in the gorgeous ceremony room at The Elvetham hotel wedding venue, David made his was in to wait in excitement and no doubt nervousness for his stunning bride to be. Claire made her way down the old staircase with Dad by her side, before making her way in to the ceremony room to meet David at the top of the aisle. The ceremony went without a hitch, it included some gorgeous readings by some of David’s family. Claire and David’s family watched on as they exchanged vows, rings and of course a first kiss.

We headed out straight after ceremony in to the stunning gardens of The Elvetham hotel wedding venue, to capture a great confetti line and of course some family portraits. Whilst the guests enjoyed the winter sunshine, we captured plenty of nice candid moments. Before heading to the stunning library room, all setup for the wedding breakfast. Claire had chosen an Autumnal theme for her centre pieces which looked great.

After speeches we headed out in to the grounds of The Elvetham Hotel wedding venue, to shoot some portrait photos. The sun was shining and we were gifted with some stunning winter light as we made out way around the grounds. As the light faded we headed back inside for cake cutting and first dance. It wasn’t long before all the guests were dancing off their dinner and have a good old boogie.

We finished off the evening with a sparkler exit, which is something I love doing it creates such a great set of images. Straight after we snuck Claire and David off for some final night time portraits, before saying out goodbyes. I would like to wish Claire and David all the best for the future together, you were amazing to work with.
