Travel Blog Southeast Asia

Destination Wedding Photographer

Throughout February and March I got to spend some time working in Southeast Asia, spending most of my time in Singapore with a little break in Thailand for a couple of days in between. This was my first time visiting any part of Asia, so I was a little excited to get over there and see what the fuss was all about. It is safe to say it did not disappoint.

Obviously I took my camera along to snap a few travel pics along the way in between work, I can safely say that Singapore is one of the most interesting places I have ever had the pleasure of visiting, the clean streets and friendly people really make it a wonderful place and it feels strangely like a cleaner and happier version of London. The only downside was the £10 for a pint of beer, but well worth it after a long day behind the camera.

Thailand on the other hand was a big shock for me, after spending nearly two weeks in Singapore, getting off the plane and stepping outside of Phuket airport was somewhat of a shock. I stayed in Phuket because of the cheap flights from Singapore, next time I will be sure to stay on Phi Phi or one of the other islands in the region which are quieter and a little more cultural. Never the less, the beach and pure beauty soon made up for the bad smells and crappy accommodation. I took a boat trip out to Phi Phi and some of the surrounding islands on my last day there which was mind blowing, the clear waters and amazing snorkeling were something I won’t forget in a hurry and look forward to enjoying again in the near future!

Anyway I will let the photos do some talking..
